Can you eat junk food on a diet and still lose weight as long as you stay in your calorie range?

helloo! i just started a diet today.Three quarters of my food is pretty much junk food lol. Even though im eating junk food im staying in my calorie range. Is it still posible for me to lose weight bc i do 30-45 minutes of cardio and jog 2-2.5 miles every night. please help. thanks!!
