Fertility Results Back...So What Happens Next?

I just got back from the doctor and got mine and my husbands fertility results back. We have been trying 2.5 years with no luck. Apparently I am fine and there are no problems with me. My husband however has a low sperm count and only 40% motility. We are being sent to a specialist in about 6-12 months....yeah...takes awhile to get in. My question is what will they do? What will our options likely be? Has anyone else been through this? Any help would be great.
