What would you do as a father?

I would file criminal charges. But my kids mom would never do that. She knows that I will be pleasant and helpful if we split and need to work it out. But I will never allow her to just walk away with my son and not let me be a part of his life. That was clear before she ever got pregnant. But every case is different.
