After i asked a girl i liked if i could have her number she told me "sure" and gave me a six digit one.. why

i repeated the same six digit number to her and asked if it was it after school and she said it was the right one.. i could have confronted her about it but i diddnt have the energy to after telling her how i feel and asking for her number plus i figured then that she diddnt want me. was she too shy to tell me "no" or did she just want to hurt my feelings giving me a bullshit number? in cl she looked at me alot and gave me abunch of signals saying she liked me my friend even told me numerous times he seen her smiling at me from afar.. do girls like fuking with guy's heads who like 'em? she knew i liked her since along time ago i would look at her alot.. but was she just seducing me for nothing? i could have sworn she felt the same way about me i'm not being delirious or anything.. shes younger than i am so is it that she just wasnt ready for a BF? and to all the that want to call me a loser for getting a bullshit num, ur wasting ur time typing i couldnt be in a worse mood.
