Every time I try to research some plan related to 'eating healthy' they go on and on and on telling you what you SHOULDN'T EAT. They could sum it up in 2 or 3 sentences (or less) by telling you what you can eat...like water and some vegetables...duhh..everything else is bad for you. And have you noticed that if you compare one plan to another, there is always a plan that says this or that is bad for you that some other plan said was OK?..and if you followed all of they, you'd just be drinking water and maybe, eating fish and some vegetables? And forget about buying stuff at the store...noooooooo... they have to make it much more difficult...like you have drive 20 miles across town to get it at some health food store and not your local Vons or you have to grow it in your own back yard...or you have to do it by hand...from scratch...on and on and on....work at it hard and hardly eat anything. Forget anything that tastes good...probably has sugar in it..a no no. And then there are the supplements...duhhh...take 3 to 5 fish oil capsules a day, take chelated magnesium, vitamin C ... don't take multiple vitamins..taking them each separately...take 3 glucosimine, yadda yadda yadda... when added to the cholesterol and blood pressure pills your HMO doctor has you on...you gotta take 30 to 40 pills a day!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! Any comments?

I have recently become the proud caretaker of four young white garden doves. I feed them each morning with a small pot of mixed pigeon grains as advised by the breeder, they eat like they are starving and it is gone in five minutes. Should I stop attending college because I have default a loan from back in 2003?

I'm currently attend kaplan online university but I recently receive a summons from student loan (Sallie Mae)from another school saying I'm in default. Currently I have medical issue so I'm unemployed but I get food stamps and my kids get S.S.I. checks. I also applied for istance. My question is will I lose my funding because of this default loan. What you really need is something that will keep a constant temperature with 70% or higher humidity. Sphagnum moss is the best type of moss to use or you can use sterile vermiculite or perlite (moistened). You need to look up the temperatures needed to incubate red eared sliders. You can put them in a box like a plastic tupperware container with very small holes in the sides and then place this in a styrofoam cooler to keep temps constant. You need to find somewhere to keep them that remains at a constant temperature within the range needed for the species. If nowhere in your house is appropriate you would have to use an artificial heat source. Don't put them in the sun or outside because this could easily kill the eggs with temperature fluctuations.

take your inhaler before hand. one thing about swimming in open water that is extremely cold, is that your muscles tense up when you enter the water and it constricts your breathing..also, its very difficult to warm up which can affect your performance..and also obviously the cold can put your health at risk. i would suggest making sure you warm up significantly before you start the swim. do some active stretching, jog for 10 mins, stretch. then, proceed to your warm up in the water...go in the water, swim around for a few mins then get out..then once your body warms up again, go back in the water for a little longer than before..do this a few times total til your comfortable in the water and your muscles are warmed up. that should help with the shock of the cold water. another thing you can do to get used to the cold water is to do some more training in it. not everyone's body can handle the cold, and we all react a little differently..you just have to figure out how to become more comfortable and relaxed in the cold. good luck!

I think we'd all be better off without her. She doesn't work, doesn't do chores, and typically wakes at 2pm. Our kids are 4 and 1 1/2. My 4 year old is now conditioned to go to bed at 3am. I have felt your pain before..when I was pregnant with my son I was sick for 3 months straight..I spent those months being completely miserable. Your Doctor can prescribe something for you to help with nausea..but that didn't work for me either. I tried the preggie pops and they helped..but then I felt sick after all of the acidity. Peppermint tea helps a little also without any kind of queesy tummy after effects. One thing that helped a lot though is having hubby get me a peice of bread as soon as I woke up in the morning (before I got out of bed), Then just having a little carb everytime I felt queesy. It helped a lot but I would recommend keeping a vomit bag handy anyway(the ones you get from the airlines) because as hard as you try to keep the nausea at bay...it still comes back and you never know where you will be when you get sick.

Ladies, why is it ok for women to do this?

I think because over history, women have been objectified and they have been made to seem like "delicate, innocent, etc.." people. It's always been that if a guy hits a girl, its bad. I think the same thing applies to looking and objectifying men/women. Men are looked at as "stronger", or "more in control" so it just looks bad when they try to "control" something that might not be as well equipped to deal with it. I'm not saying that women are weaker than men, but i think that's where the idea stemmed from.

I must say, I am damn good with taking on new languages. I have no doubt that I couldn't learn any language. I'm a native English speaker, with 2 years of French, and going onto my 3/4 years of Chinese (Mandarin). I want to learn something else.... something i'd actually use fairly often. For example, I love Swedish and Russian, but I've yet to come across a Swede or Russian who didn't speak english. In Connecticut, you find a lot of Polaks and Spanish (mostly puerto ricans) people. Can i register a car in NSW if I hold a Victorian license and live in Victoria?

I currently have a problem of registering a car in Victoria, I purchased the car while living in NSW however a few months ago the rego expired so i finally got around to getting the RWC done in victoria and spent some money on getting it up to scratch. Go down to Vic roads and was told the car had been written off in NSW back in 2006 and can not be registered in victoria unless it has a VIV inspection carried out, at a cost of about $480. I learnt the car had been inspected by NSW road authority after being riden off and ped without a problem, however Vic roads won't accept this nor the Victorian RWC as proof that the cars safe. That being said if the registration had not expired it could have transfered over to victorian rego without a problem, so my question here after all that is it possible to register in Nsw on my Victorian license? As i refuse to pay the VIV inspection fee if theres a remote chance I dont need to as I'd prefer to blow the money on petrol and accomodation and have a holiday in NSW while arranging to have the car registered there, either that or as the Vic roads employee said just wait till the cars 15 years old and then the VIV won't be required and it;ll be able to be registered with a standard RWC....

Ok so, First of all, This is what happens to me, Usually when i wake up I'm starving, I eat, i feel good. For a few hours. Question for parents and those who married the youngest: is he feeling pressured by his sibling to keep up?

Not from what i've seen but my children are still very little. They are more focused on trying to be themselves although there will always be a struggle to be heard, lots of yelling talking over each other. I can see how that might progress into what you're saying. However a little healthy competition among siblings is not a bad thing.

Let's say the engine cranks and starts the normal way, choke engaged, disengage choke after engine is running. Will continue running for 15 minutes or so. Try to restart, ends up getting flooded. only way to restart is to disconnect fuel line from carberator and syphening fuel back to carb. Then reconnecting and the process starts over. Kittens behaviour has changed in last few weeks?

My kittens behaviour has changed quite a bit. We got a new kitten a few weeks ago and after 5 days the boys were getting on great and they still do. But Pumpkyn, my 8 month old has started to change a bit. Suddenly he has become a lot more timid and as soon as he hears the door, he runs and hides. He used to love having cuddles with me, but lately he likes this less and less and most times when i sit to pet him and will get up and move, even if its only a couple of inches. He has also started to claw the carpet lots and has started to poo on the floor regularly, even though his box is clean (although the little one has started to share his box). He also seems to not want to play with his toys any longer and will either play with Gizmo or watch Giz play. He just seems quite down and more scared of people, i'm quite worried about him. Can anyone suggest it anything may be wrong???

Walmart cart corral hit my car. Responsible?

This was last year and i should have found out more about it before but they denied me at first so i gave up. Ok well I had my car parked in a walmart parking lot and then a huge storm came through and blew the huge metal cart corral with a cart still inside onto my car. the two openings were firmly around the front of my car and made two dents there and a bunch of line dents on the front where the cart was. They took pictures and called me back weeks later saying they denied my claim because it was owners descretion whether or not to bolt down those things and the weather wasnt their fault.
